Project Associate

Changing Tastes, a leading consultancy providing business, culinary, and sustainability strategy to the food and hospitality sector, philanthropies, impact investors and governments, is seeking a project associate to support our work in new product development and educating food professionals with a substantial focus on improving and promoting sustainable production in the Americas.

This position provides an exceptional opportunity for an early career professional with strong analytical and new media skills as well as a passion for food, sustainability, and travel, to learn about and influence the food sector.

The project assistant will support all aspects of our work by documenting and recording our activities, helping during client meetings and workshops, supporting planning and execution of industry workshops, meetings and events, creating digital content for traditional marketing channels and social media, translating business correspondence and documents, and providing informal English-Spanish translation during live and virtual meetings and events.

The project assistant must be fluent in Spanish and have experience traveling, working or living in Central and South America and be able to informally translate between Spanish and English. They will also help the Changing Tastes team navigate on the ground challenges in securing facilities, ingredients, and equipment, conducting and supporting meetings with Spanish speaking clients and stakeholders, and producing English language summaries.

The ideal candidate will be based in or near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania but consideration will be given for the selected candidate. This is an entry level full or part position with room for growth for the right candidate.
