When the sustainable seafood community wondered how to accelerate progress in the U.S. foodservice industry, the Monterey Bay Aquarium’s Seafood Watch Program turned to Changing Tastes for strategic advice.
After conducting the first ever study of how restaurant companies can influence global and domestic seafood supply chains and fishing practices, Changing Tastes lead the creation of an unprecedented precompetitive roundtable involving many of the largest restaurant and hospitality companies in the country. Our firm led the companies to forge a common agenda and now leading both efforts to improve industry practices and engage suppliers around the world.
Changing Tastes’ work with Seafood Watch has also created new insights into the U.S. market for the sustainable seafood community as well as provided front line training tools, social risk assessments, new approaches to sharing information across global supply chains.
